One thing that seems to be a common theme every year when the Crossfit Open starts, is the pure damage people do to their hands. We've all seen those posts. People will do pull ups (or another movement) so many times for one of the open workouts that it will lead to what is commonly called "flappers"; when you rip the calluses off your hands.
And sure enough, 20.2 brought out the flappers. The 20 minute As Many Rounds as Possible (AMRAP) workout of 4 dumbbell thrusters, 6 toes-to-bar, and 24 double-unders was enough to cause @luzmarfer11 to get a solid case of flappers.
We know flappers are going to happen during the Crossfit Games. It's relatively unavoidable. But what you can do is soothe those flappers and help them heal faster with our Antiseptic Healing Ointment. Get ready for the next round of the Crossfit Games faster with the proven healing power of Brave Soldier performance skin care products!
If you're not familiar with the golden-haired girl from the Golden State, familiarize yourself with Meghan Baird (aka The Hangry Runner Girl). This pre-med student from California State University Los Angeles is a savage endurance athlete with a marathon PR of 3:14 and two finishes in Boston. We recently sent her some of our Friction Zone gel because when [...]
With Spartan Race's World Championship this weekend in Squaw Valley, California, the weather this weekend is shaping up to make for an especially chilly set of conditions. The World Championship course is notorious for having multiple water-based obstacles that test grip strength as well as grit while athletes persist in the face of hypothermia. With predicted cold weather (and [...]
It's easy to assume that bicyclists are the only people who suffer from saddle sores. Don't make that mistake! Those other "bikers" (motorcycles) have to battle the same issue, especially when touring across the nation. We received a testimonial from an avid biker who recently tried our Friction Zone product for one of his long rides. Here's what [...]
As the weather starts to cool and the air becomes more crisp, a lot of you may be gearing up for a fall marathon. All those summer miles in the heat and humidity should yield some faster paces on your training runs this fall. And let's be honest, logging those long runs is going to [...]
With the end of Labor Day weekend, we are facing the last few weeks of summer 2019 and boy what a summer it's been! Filled with time with friends, BBQs, fun weekends at the lake/beach/pool and some fun training outside; soon those summer tans (and probably those tan lines) will fade, but the memories will [...]
On the heels of the 2019 Spartan Race North American Championship in Glen Jean, WV, we're reminded of a powerful testimonial concerning our Antiseptic Healing Ointment. In the 2018 Spartan North American Championship, the women started before the men (something rarely done) and Nicole Mericle led for almost the entirety of the race. This would prove [...]

Hey yall, I froze my big toe on 9 May at 14,200' on Denali after my ski boot cracked from the cold. I used your ointment on the ensuing blister 3X/day for the rest of the trip. Rather than having to bail, my skin healed up great, and I summited the top of [...]
Aside from managing social media for Brave Soldier, I enjoy a few endurance sports myself. I have been an avid snowboarder for many years and couldn’t wait to try out Brave Soldier products on the mountain. I traveled up to Snowshoe, West Virginia with a few girlfriends for a weekend break getaway. We were lucky to [...]
