Two separate incidents involving carrots required immediate attention from Antiseptic Healing Ointment.

A single father of two was cutting up carrot sticks for his children, when a slip of the knife resulted in a deep gash to this father's finger. Luckily, no stitches were needed but this quick-thinking father washed the skin flap, applied a liberal amount of Antiseptic Healing Ointment and saved a good chunk of his finger. The lidocaine immediately numbed the pain and this father reported no pain from the cut as it healed.

Barely a week later, this same father was sauteing carrots for his girls in olive oil, when an errant flip of the spatula caused hot oil to splash his stomach. Almost immediately, his skin began to blister from the burn. Once again, this father immediately applied a liberal amount of Antiseptic Healing Ointment to the burn. The lavender oil in our helped heal the burns and the blisters receded overnight.

Maybe next time you should just throw some potatoes on the grill, Dad? We think carrots are just bad luck for you!
